The Ring of Fire is the area along the Pacific Ocean coastline where the most earthquake and volcanic eruptions occur. The Ring of Fire has 452 volcanoes and about 75% of the world's active volcanoes. It als has about 90% of all the earthquakes that have occurred. The Ring of Fire is made by plate tectonics and the movement of lithospheric plates.
